I is for Invictus

Directed by Clint Eastwood
Starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon

Synopsis
Nelson Mandela, in his first term as the South African President, initiates a unique venture to unite the apartheid-torn land: enlist the national rugby team on a mission to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

Invictus is an inspiring film, but was very predictable. I enjoyed Invictus immensely, but it could've been better in many ways.

  2. If you liked that film, you would love "The Power of One." It's also about apartheid but it's a better film. Juliet atCity Muse Country Muse

  7. I'll watch anything with Matt Damon in it. Somehow this one fell off my radar. Thanks for the reminder! Adding to movie list now.
