National Wormhole Day Blogfest

Thank you for hosting this awesome blogfest!

There are many things I would do if I could time travel. I wish I could time travel, but that would be awkward. It would be fun though! So without futher ado, my list of things I would do if I could time travel.

The List
-Witness the American Revolution and the American Constitution being written by the Founding Fathers.
-Witness the French Revolution.
-See the Great Wall of China and Forbidden City being built.
-View the other galaxies in the Universe.
-See my future husband and children.
-See how some classic novels were written such as The Great Gatsby.
-See how the Academy Awards are produced and put on television in February.
-Be a first-class passenger on the RMS Titanic and survive the sinking of the ship.
-See how the Eiffel Tower was built in Paris, France.
-Meet author Nicholas Sparks in person.
-Meet singer/songwriter Adele in person.
-Meet Abraham Lincoln in person.

And so much more!

What would you do if you time traveled?

  1. What a great list. I'd go back and see my maternal grandparents as children - I know so little about them, it would be fascinating to learn about them.

  2. Check out the days when Jamaica National Heroes were still alive. You have quite a list there.

  4. Each time I hop to another post I come up with another place to go. I think I'd follow Nicki Elson to 28 A.D. to hear the Sermon on the Mount.

  7. I thought about going back to the American Revolution too. I may have to settle for a trip to Philadelphia one day. :)

So many cool places to go in history!

  10. You're brave for wanting to be on the Titanic. I don't know if I could handle the sinking. Maybe if I could be beamed up before they hit the ice-berg.

  11. Well, at least it's not too late....you can still meet Adele if you get the opportunity :)

  12. Wars and the Titanic? Throw in some base jumping and I'd call you an adrenaline junkie. LOL. Just joking, we all know if we go back in time, it's as an impervious being...like a hologram!

  13. Wow, you're brave if you want to see the Titanic sinking! Make sure to pack warm clothes ;)

  14. A mighty list. I like the Titanic best, but hope you wouldn't suffer too much. You could just settle yourself within a life boat well before the sinking starts and honker it out, I guess.

  15. Sounds like a whirlwind tour for you! I'd be interested in bringing back technology from the future. Especially medical technology.

  16. That's a nice list. I'd like to do a few of these things myself.

  17. That's quite a list! Well, if you were going to the Titanic, maybe you could get there before it hits that iceberg, and warn the captain. (Not that he'd necessarily listen...)

  18. Fun post! I asked my students this question today and they had some of your same answers:-)

  19. Excellent list, Livia. You're the first person I've ever heard say they'd like to be a passenger on the sinking Titanic! Did you hear some guy is building a ship to the exact specifications? This could be your chance - let's hope this one doesn't sink.

  20. I love, love, love that you made a list rather than a lengthy explanation of what you'd want to do. How would you choose? Throw darts? I'd love to be on the Titanic, too...I've always been a little obsessed with it...

  21. I like the 'seeing the Eiffel Tower built' choice. That was a time of invention and scientific dreams.

  22. What an awesome list! I think I'd love to view other galaxies in the Universe :)
